This Master Class will delve into what an actor can experience when building, creating and delivering a given performance as well as the many differences that exist between acting for the stage, acting for the camera and finally acting for motion capture and voice work in the video game industry.
My own training and professional acting journey will serve as an example for participants to better understand the actor’s place in storytelling and show business in general. Geographic film and television production cultures in Canada, namely, in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, will be highlighted and examined. Photos, videos and sound clips of various stage, screen and video game performances will be shown and discussed throughout the class and specific times are scheduled to answer any questions you may have. Discussion and debate during class time are very welcome and highly encouraged.
